Keep Your Vision on The Mission

This post was originally written and posted on 5/15/2018, but today I had some readers visiting this post in particular and it spoke to me. I changed the image and the main tittle as I had posted originally in May (spring time) here I am reposting believing and trusting that it will speak to a lot of people again!

Don’t let what you don’t see NOW take your eyes away from what you KNOW despite of what you see in front of you!

I come to you with fervor anger to wake you up to help you understand that your current situation have been shaped by a series of circumstances not by a person nor a creator. Your creator is bigger! You are more! Don’t you worry by what is right in front of you, the battles you’re facing right now are something that will end despite of what you’re seeing, don’t try to fight them alone.

Are you physically fighting these battles? Phew, I didn’t think you were, unless you are reading me from a literal AND PHYSICAL war zone right now (and if that’s the case my respects and please BELIEVE Jesus will come through). Let’s continue; that is because these battle are not physical. Then how come we can feel beaten, how can we say we are going through a battle or that we are battling at all, and they are so exhausting and overwhelming, Denise?

Because they are spiritual. They drain us, we are humans, we worry, we become angry, we use it wrongly, we get anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, develop obsessive compulsive behaviors, sexual misconduct, become adulterous and A LOT MORE! Those are the battles we face everyday, some fight them some join them some only notice them when they are in too deep others don’t notice them at all and need to be save by someone else. There’s hope to fight if  you’re willing to give it a shot, there’s a devil who has his demons on the loose trying to keep the minds captives and making them feel all sort of negative feelings, unbalancing chemicals in the brain breaking marriages, corrupting children, bringing pornography to our homes, making our teenagers feel unworthy or grow an altered ego! YES!! THAT IS THE DEVIL’S DEMONS. Because the devil came to lie, to steal, kill and destroy. But there’s also a God, who came to bring life, abundant life (John 10:10). This is all a spiritual battle, if yoou’re not physically fighting it you’re mentally fighting it. A lot of people believe in the satan but fail to believe in God, how about we say “not today satan, not today I made a choice to believe that good things come to those who pray and believe in good things!”

Who are you willing to fight for today? Is it for your children, your marriage, your friend, your job, your spirituality, your wholeness, your health, or a love one, perhaps a stranger? Whatever, whoever it is! There’s hope! Be patience and do what every season requires of you to do.
I am fighting today for my house, for my children, for my health (in all aspects) and for everyone in this world who needs a good fight in prayer. That is why I write and share this message with you.

Enjoy the seasons in your life and remember that there’s always two tests that you have to pass

Who you are when you have a lot and who you are when you have less, these are the tests of faith.

What do you choose to believe during drought season? Do not let what you see cloud your spiritual vision, you know that conviction that you feel in your heart what many people call a “gut feeling”.

Do you think it’ll rain again, does it look like it’ll spring again? Let your intuition guide you to positive thoughts that will eventually take you to positive things in life. Learn how to connect with the things that you don’t see but that you do want to see and let go of negative thinking. #hope .

Who do you believe? Connect with the source of life don’t live in a world filled with beautiful things and beautiful people feeling empty.

Do you believe the people who are saying that spring will never come or do you believe what you have known your whole entire life? (be careful with that—spring always comes). Will nature continue to take its natural course even though the current circumstances are saying otherwise?  When you have your spirit centered in greater things your faith grows in the super natural and you begin to see things possible, you believe there’s hope for growth, change, overcoming, prosperity, wealth, health, wisdom, and faith begins to bloom. You will no longer see as the world sees you will see things that are not as if the ordinary sees it and you will believe the impossible possible. #faith

What do you know, what have you learned throughout your life, what has God showed you? What you know about life and what you have learned are just part of the process, part of the walk, part of the battle, part of the scars necessary to mark you and shape your tomorrow. What you have learned from it is what will give you the ultimate victory! Do not be anxious about anything! — #certainty

The Meaning of Faith

“Now faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come about and the certainty that what we cannot see exists. By faith our ancestors won approval.” (Hebrews 11:1-2)

“Sometimes you have to be angry to try to save someone and when I’m angry I write to inspire change, and hope”—Denise

Which reminds me of Martin Luther King Jr. , I love his quote below.

“I find nothing that promotes work better than angry fervor. For when I wish to compose, write, pray and preach well, I must be angry. It refreshes my entire system, my mind is sharpened, and all unpleasant thoughts and depression fade away.” –Martin Luther

Whoever Has Eyes and is Able To See, Read On.

DreamingFive am this morning and I saw myself ministering to the people of God at my congregation (where I attend church) telling them “that something GREAT is coming” —present time—, God was calling me to remind them that something GREAT is coming, and in the dream I was passionately telling a lady from my church, the worship leader to be more specific whom I’m keeping her name private (to protect her privacy) to minister that; in the microphones because the people HAD to sing and declare “that something GREAT is to come to the house of God INDIVIDUALLY for each of the faithful followers of Christ” and I saw another sister also from the worship team receive the Spirit of God, and then I saw at a distance a deacon (a female whom I love dearly and I am also keeping her name private for privacy purposes) in the Spirit of God!

Some-time later I got up because I heard my oldest preparing to go to work so I started to give double thanks and glory to God for that (I actually thought “this is the great thing coming!” since my oldest has been struggling to get up in the mornings for work)

After reading the Bible for about two hours and honestly not understanding why the Lord took me to read Lamentations, when He had just told me that “something GREAT was coming!” I ended up in Ezekiel and going through a few chapters of it too…only then could I understand why…

God wanted to remind me of Zion in Lamentations, and remind me that great things will come ALWAYS and WHEN His people are faithful, otherwise all the worst awaits them. As it happened to Zion… but someone has to talk to His people and warn them that He is giving them one more chance. Now I didn’t know how to warm you people (at the time) but then after hours I thought… if I have the opportunity is through this method. God said to me if you have a method use it. Great things are to come the end brings a new beginning! So I thought… December-January.

See what I’m getting at?

And this is what the Lord told me:

“The word of the LORD came to the priest Ezekiel son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans, by the river Chebar; the hand of the Lord came upon him there. And I saw, and behold, a stormy wind came from the north, and a great cloud, with a surrounding fire, and around it a brightness, and in the midst of the fire something that seemed like shining bronze, and in the midst of it the figure of four living beings. And this was his appearance: there was in them the likeness of a man. Each had four faces and four wings. And their feet were straight, and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot; and they sparkled like burnished bronze. Under their wings, on their four sides, they had the hands of men; and their faces and their wings on all four sides. With their wings they joined each other. They did not turn when they went, but each one walked straight ahead. And the appearance of their faces was the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side of the four, and the face of an ox on the left in the four; likewise there were four eagle faces. That’s what their faces were like. And they had their wings extended above, each one two, which came together; and the other two covered their bodies. And each one walked straight ahead; where the spirit moved them to walk, they walked; and when they went, they did not turn around. As for the likeness of living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the vision of lighted torches that walked among living beings; and the fire shone, and lightning flashed from the fire. And the living beings ran and returned like lightning. While I looked at the living beings, here is a wheel on the earth next to the living beings, on all four sides. The appearance of the wheels and their work was similar to the color of the chrysolite. And the four had the same similarity; his appearance and his work were like a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they walked, they moved towards its four sides; They did not turn when they walked. And their hoops were tall and frightening, and full of eyes around in the four. And when the living beings walked, the wheels went by them; and when the living beings rose from the earth, the wheels were lifted”.

Just as the spirit of the living beings was on those wheels when they sent the Sign of the Glory of God and moved with the wheels that covered them in the same way the Holy Spirit of God will move with the chosen ones with the fence that He has put around them protecting them when they move to take their word and message to the people of Christ!

“When they walked, they went, and when they stopped, they stopped; also when they rose from the earth, the wheels rose behind them; because the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels.”

Then on your feet is the Spirit of God NOT UNDER , and when you stand you hold firm as if it were a device that takes you from the waist to the feet IS MORE like your spine that holds you BLESSED IS THE GLORY OF God, WHEN you decide to get up from the dust and take on life there is the Holy Spirit of God giving you power and follows you like some wheels ready as a giant to get you out of the hole, and follow you in case you get stuck again! Praise be to the King.

“And on the heads of the living beings there appeared an expanse like a wonderful crystal, spread over their heads. And under the expansion their wings were straight, extending towards each other; and each one had two wings that covered his body. And I heard the sound of their wings when they went, like the sound of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the noise of a crowd, like the noise of an army. When they stood, they let down their wings. And when they stopped and lowered their wings, there was a voice above the expansion above their heads. And on the expanse that was above their heads was the figure of a throne that looked like sapphire stone; and on the figure of the throne there was a resemblance that resembled a man sitting on it. And I saw an appearance like a gleaming bronze, like the appearance of fire within it round about, from the aspect of its loins up; and from his loins down, I saw that it looked like fire, and that it had a glow around it. As it looks like the rainbow that is in the clouds the day it rains, so was the appearance of the brightness around. This was the vision of the likeness of Jehovah’s glory. And when I saw her, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one who spoke. ” Ezekiel 1: 3-19, 21-28 RVR1960,21-28.rvr1960

I said to myself I can not go over my leaders to preach a word in my church, I also don’t feel like I am prepared to do so, and I even ask how does one ask permission to bring a message at church? And God tells me not to fear—then how will I bring His word…? I believe that I have to pray and fast to find what the Lord wants to tell me in the following and to find out how to take this message to the people. Because “something GREAT is to come!”

After long hours of editing and fixing typos and brief story of my childhood and sending it to two people with massive errors making sure it wasn’t too much and proof reading it I said “ok my website”:

“He said to me: Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you. And after he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and he held me on my feet, and I heard the speaker. And he said to me, Son of man, I send you to the sons of Israel, to rebellious people who rebelled against me; they and their parents have rebelled against me until this very day. I, therefore, send you to children with a hard face and an inveterate heart; and you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh. Perhaps they listen; but if they do not listen, because they are a rebellious house, they will always know that there was a prophet among them. And you, son of man, do not fear them, nor be afraid of their words, although you are among brambles and thorns, and dwell with scorpions; Do not be afraid of their words, nor be afraid of them, because they are a rebellious house. You will speak to them, then, my words, listen or stop listening; because they are very rebellious. But you, son of man, hear what I speak to you; do not be rebellious like the rebellious house; Open your mouth, and eat what I give you. And I looked, and behold, a hand stretched out toward me, and in it was a scroll of a book. And he spread it out before me, and it was written in front and behind; and there were written in it laments and lamentations and woes. “

Ezekiel 2: 1-10 NKJ1960

I was very surprised that the Lord took me on this trip and this beautiful experience, (I felt like everything He was saying to Ezekiel He was also saying to me). Since I was a child I dreamed of preaching and I went to church with a neighbor who introduced me to the Christian church (since then I fell in love with God) all the plays they did and all the things I learned about the gospel were amazing, I remember my brother played as one of the two men who were crucified alongside Jesus. She took us both for many years, I used to lock myself up with a Bible in the room and pretended that I preached as a “hallelujah”—HARDCORE— TOO!! (Although I was baptized by the Catholic Church and I made my first communion I always visited the Christian church) on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, those services where awesome from 7-10:30 (woo those where the days!) I remember asking my mom “can we go to church with Ana?” (Most Times was a, yes!. To try to find ‘balance’ my brother and I would sometimes walk to the Catholic Church on Sunday’s (because we were Catholics ya know…)

…I have so much to learn but I think the passion is so great that I even dream that I preach, until the other day I hesitated due to fear—doubted God and believed I was perhaps starting to become just one of the many more who thought they could preach better than the pastor since it seems to be an epidemic now a days…I came out of church and just wanted to preach…(because sometimes you get carried away by people even if you have God screaming in your ear) “I do not know if it is my illusion” (I used to say) and I said many times to God, “it is my dreams to preach to the nations the good news of the gospel, I want people to fall in love with you for you, to get to know you, and to be saved, I know what it is to be in the world and to have been saved”. But, no! Doubts are gone… I UNDERSTAND now, because I dream it and I feel it, because I can not sleep, and although I still have a lot to learn, I understand loud and clear why I came out all fired up… because I am so worried about this passion that is bigger than me. And because prophets of the Lord have told me “not to keep quiet that I was called to speak” … why? Because, this is MY CALLING!

I understand why the preparation is so important, so when the launching time arrives you can have fuel and do not stay halfway (like it happens to many people)… this is about doing what God wants, AS GOD WANTS it (not as we want it-or as the last preacher said it) with the word of God, and with the Word that God gives to us specifically for others not to find self-fulfillment. Even if it makes us feel uncomfortable at first or if it makes others feel uncomfortable, it’ll bring satisfaction to our soul, because it is a soul saving solution. Scanned by God to save your town, it requires time and preparatory and whoever does not have it loses its place… this is not a fast soul saving solution! This is a long-term soul caring solution!

THE CONCLUSION (finally huh—I know—):

“Do it individually” [that was the old conclusion] when I planned on texting everyone God tells me to…or still plan as God directs me, I originally wrote this in Spanish while standing at my kitchen counter (why standing? I don’t know, but I was inspired and it took me like two hours to translate and did it standing too).

So back to concluding,

“Why limit the word of God by texting the message to a few contacts when I could possibly reach millions” —Denise

I said I’ll bring the message; “Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

Matthew 13:9 NIV

I understand that this is a little different but I believe it can still help anyone who’s willing to be open-minded, if you have any questions please, contact me with an email, and I will be more than glad to respond. I love interaction.Thank you for patiently reading me, I know I can write my soul out! One day I will write a book hehe I promise (ha I’m joking not joking!!) I just publicly declared it and I believe it in the name of Jesus, I have enough writing to put a book together. Anyone wants to be my editor and publisher? I don’t have any money though, just the word of God and love to give!

Blessings my friends

Generation Z Managing Stress

Let’s try to understand others shall we…

Sometimes as I look at my 19 year old son I think “he doesn’t even put any effort into trying to think” (is that even such a thing) okay judging free zone like planet fitness—don’t judge me—truth is that he thinks a lot more than I can even or ever imagine. I actually believe he is a lot like me (more than I’d like to admit right now) he studies people observes the world, the way people treat each other, the way people live, the way that I am, what I say verbally and non-verbally, the way I judge verbally and non-verbally as well, he is maturing in silence and even stressing in silence as well.

Is like when he does speaks he is letting out in two or three phrases everything he hasn’t said in two or three months. Have you ever wonder what this generation Z (young people full of silent life) think about? Gosh scary to think…but if you want to know i recommend you play a “Tell me something about your and how you feel” game with them— I’ll tell you more about it in a sec, but truth is that they might not tell you much while they are put on the spot (or sat in the hot chair) but the minute you start talking about them or trying to describe who they are or give them identity as a parent whether  in a jokingly manner or not boy I tell ya’!

Interesting, huh… well reason why I talk about this is because as I was saying he thinks a lot more than I can (or want to) imagine. The way that he manages stress is very different (and important for me to understand as a mom) than the way that I do. A lot of parents or adults don’t know how to talk to generation Z or how to approach them, they believe that they are silent in their own world and absolutely absent in the “reality” of the one we live in.

As a mom of three beautiful souls of this generation I was moved today to write a quick post to inspire my friends (all of you) and lovely readers to try to understand our younger generation, whether they are friends, neighbors, co-workers, siblings, step-kids, OUR OWN children, kids of friends , or an extended relative…etc.

Children let’s not expect but instead listen to their silent and respect their short phrases, make sense to their words and appreciate their feedback.—Denise

My 19 yr old son said to me yesterday that “I always thought I was right” in a little game that my 11 year old decided we driving to my mom’s house, called “Say something about yourself and how you feel” (the game I mentioned earlier). And I genuinely value his feedback and prayed about it, I so hope that I can listen to him more and allow him to express himself more as well (whether verbally or non-verbally), & that I can learn how to listen to him and understand him as well. Because as a coach and counselor I perhaps may be leading and guiding, directing all the time and not precisely doing much listening in my own family just because I posses a believe that “I know what I’m talking about and I can help” attitude and instead I am sending the wrong message because those are not my intentions. I have a lot to learn and my intentions are for all of us to grow together.

Perhaps I am not allowing them to talk, and they are stressed out, I thought (he wasn’t the only one to talk… it was pretty funny and things got interesting with the youngest one too-but real to me), while they were joking I was analyzing everything,  they are bottling stress and this can hinder their happiness and perhaps their future. I am not trying to shut them off (perhaps you’re not either) but they think that I am Mrs. Know it all and that they are “Team don’t have a voice/chance”. And that is not the case.

There’s is a part in the brain that is not fully develop until age 25, therefore they’re are not fully capable of comprehending and understanding things that someone over the age of 25 would be able to.

They escape, and focus on finding refugee to social media and use it as a source to “relieve stress” from annoying mom and dad. Social media is a stressor for young people today (for generation Z:people born in mid 90’s and 2000). They go to bed late and experience disturbance in sleep, headaches, mood swings, and more stress related symptoms. Social media can be a help or something that causes stress depending on how is being used. Learning how to manage and limit social media can limit stress, but if our young people are using it as way to seek happiness they can end up worse because there is such a diverse of lives that they can end up comparing theirs with and instead of feeling better they can end up worse.

Eating better and staying active, physically socializing and exercising is a great for young people to manage stress, reaching out to seek mental health professionally, counseling, therapy, finding a life coach or mentor can be very helpful to manage and minimize stress as well. Learning coping skills and how to address a situation to manage that stress effectively when it arises will help all of us to manage that stress effectively.

People are really feeling the effects of the environment and we need to be aware of what goes around us, which means that although the environment isn’t getting better we need to work harder at staying better and not letting it affect us. Whatever the issue is people should be active in those issue but understand that in life we can only control our thoughts, our actions and our own feelings—not anyone else’s. Therefore, the way things turn out to be might not always be the way we wish for but we can control the way we react to it.

We need to help our generation Z understand that reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength. Break the stigma. Working today on what we want to see tomorrow is the key to opening the door for the place we want to enter later. We all want to be safe in life, no one wants to be in danger, even those who have thoughts of hurting themselves know that they want to be hugged, and finding that safe haven starts by reaching out and asking for help. A lot of young people mistakingly speak base on thoughts and not true feeling and as adults (if you’re and adult reading this) is our job to step in and help.

If you’re under the age of 25 don’t feel like you’re weak or broken or immature, please know that you’re capable and use this as a guide to understanding yourself and perhaps helping others find a better way to managing stress.

Everyday is a new opportunity (as I always say) to begin again.

Today is the day today we’ve been given another opportunity to live, love, give thanks, love God, yourself, the creations, others, and enjoy life!

As always—thinking of you,

Sexual Intimacy

Although sexual intimacy is not everything, it is very vital in the marriage relationship.

Yesterday I told you that sexual intimacy “is not everything”, right?

But before we go telling our spouses that is not important (or that we can opt out of it whenever) I want to break down to you why  is extremely important:

  • Marriage is a union of body, soul and spirit; that holds (stays together) with intimacy connection, and affection: we can break this down even more
  • For marriage to be strong, it is mandatory that there be intimacy that people know each other well, that they connect with one another, that they know the deepest secrets of their souls, and that they love each other deeply (without limits)
  • When this happens people come to love in this way: they make love (intimate sexually) they know and discover the bodies of each other, a connection of the soul is created that affirms and strengthens the union, and the love of the one for the another grows- creating a flame that cannot even be extinguish by all the fire departments of the world. Because this flame is spiritual.

Sex is not intended to be some kind of obligation or, as it was said in the old term, “conjugal duty”, sex is meant to be a wonderful moment of pleasure and enjoyment! In marriage, the sexual act is one of the most expressive, vulnerable and speechless ways in which you can create intimacy, since you and your spouse really enjoy each other’s company, which is something that today’s readings express wonderfully. So I suggest you create some time with your spouse today. Deepen your intimacy physically with each other. It is biblical!

Note: As long as there is a marriage bond established by God, there is no need to hide what God united and speak of it under smoke signals.

Creating time for each other is vital to your marriage and family relationship, your family’s happiness will depend on and be shaped by the love that arises in your bedroom (love not only sex-real love must arise).

The scriptures present us with beautiful ways of expressing ourselves with our spouses, I use them in my personal life and I trust that since they are sacred they are already anointed with a double portion of blessing.

Read the following and navigate in the sense of how far your soul can go.

You have captured my heart, my treasure,[a] my bride.
You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes,
with a single jewel of your necklace.
10 Your love delights me,
    my treasure, my bride.
Your love is better than wine,
your perfume more fragrant than spices.
11 Your lips are as sweet as nectar, my bride.
Honey and milk are under your tongue.
Your clothes are scented
    like the cedars of Lebanon.

12 You are my private garden, my treasure, my bride,
a secluded spring, a hidden fountain.
13 Your thighs shelter a paradise of pomegranates
    with rare spices—
henna with nard,
14     nard and saffron,
    fragrant calamus and cinnamon,
with all the trees of frankincense, myrrh, and aloes,
    and every other lovely spice.
15 You are a garden fountain,
    a well of fresh water
    streaming down from Lebanon’s mountains.

Young Woman

16 Awake, north wind!
    Rise up, south wind!
Blow on my garden
and spread its fragrance all around.
Come into your garden, my love;
taste its finest fruits. (Songs of Solomon 4:19-16 NLT)

They make anyone fall in love !

These words come clean but with double meaning, so that we can dedicate them, give them the meaning (without morbid) without corrupting and apply them to our lives.

What more wonderful than the sacred scriptures?

15 Drink water from your own cistern,
running water from your own well.
16 Should your springs overflow in the streets,
your streams of water in the public squares?
17 Let them be yours alone,
never to be shared with strangers.
18 May your fountain be blessed,
and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—
may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be intoxicated with her love. (Proverbs 5: 15-19NIV)

The proverbs you just read speaks to us very clearly, of infidelity, of sexual immorality and of the importance of keeping one for the other. Yesterday when I was looking for scriptures for this series of devotionals, it never ceased to amaze me how the word of God can not be clearer. We have to be satisfied with what we have at home and stop comparing and wanting what the other has, working hard with what we have and praying that God will convert him into what he wants for us. Act with authority and respect. With courage in favor for what we want, and to always recreate one in the love of the other. We are already married!

“The husband fulfills the wife’s conjugal duty, and so does the wife with the husband. The woman has no power over her own body, but the husband; nor does the husband have power over his own body, but the woman. Do not deny each other, except for some time of mutual consent, to occupy yourselves peacefully in prayer; and come together again in one, so that Satan will not tempt you because of your incontinence. ” 1 Corinthians 7: 3-5 RVR1960

Watch one for the other, take care of your heart, try to be intimate, love without limits, be happy in front of the world but even more behind closed doors.

God bless you,

Denise Kilby

You Were Created to be One

Husbands and Wives: you were created to be one.

That is the way God created you and that is how you should be. So, why does it sometimes seem that you are very far from that ideal? Intimacy can suffer when we move away from our state ordained by God, and don’t draw together the image with which God created us; because he created us with a vision.

God made us man and woman with a dream per se. God has a Dream for us. We get married because we also have a dream for our lives but then-we get angry and want to leave our spouses sites, we insult and mistreat each other, we forget the beautiful things and we only see the ugly, even the physical attraction is lost, and often to serve the Lord comes first than serving our partners (but it is just an excuse to avoid being intimate) or not serving the Lord comes as an excuse because there is no privacy (no intimate connection) there is no one-on-one, or there is emotional abandonment.

Often, when we hear the words “intimacy” and “marriage”, we think that the conversation will be about sex. And yes, sex is important to build intimacy! But it is not the only aspect of true marital intimacy.

Over the next few days, embrace each other and accept the scriptures that you read as you learn more about how to deepen your intimacy on your path to a healthier and stronger marriage so that you can also fight with everything that comes over your home and your way.

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.

But for Adam[a] no suitable helper was found.  So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[b] and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[c] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

The man said, “This is now bone of my bones
    and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.” (Genesis 2:18-25 NIV)

And from the rib of the man GOD himself brought out a woman, not to be less, or to be second, NOR to be more (that’s why the woman likes to be pampered) but also to be of appropriate help; help in everything possible.

See God’s plan was for man to take care of his woman and see her as help for him as well, to see her as equally and know that she was part of him and remember Him (God) at all times through her. Many times while we sleep God is working and taking from our being and depositing in the person He has chosen for our lives to take care of us His way, yet Eve ate the forbidden fruit it may not seem like she helped Adam much there huh, it actually looks like she got him in trouble-but it was Adam’s job to take care of her, she was supposed to help. Kinda’ like “one hand washes the other”, yeah you’re getting it.

God did not dedicate himself to look for guilty ones here, they hid themselves because of their own shame, he called them to come out of their hidden place. He told them to stop hiding. I ask you today are you hiding your marriage because of shame?

He could have finished with them or separated them right then and there. But instead (being God of course) He decided to leave them together (awesome sauce) because he united them until the end of their lives and so together they had to figure out a way to take care of one another, help each other and do life. They had to understand and fix their differences, but they also had to do it with the help of God.

Therefore, as long as there is no infidelity, no physical abuse, no irreparable spiritual corruption (and it goes without saying that with God and forgiveness everything is possible), marriage should not be broken even the intimate union for any weak reason.

You have to fight every day, look for new goals, new strategies, innovate ideas, and try to keep the flame of love burning at all times.

“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’[a] ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,[b] and the two will become one flesh.’[c] So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (S. Mark 10: 6-9 NIV)

Inner Strength

Push yourself with such force to the surface that your inner strength comes out allowing you to be the best you everyday of your life.

Your thoughts will determine your day, think happy thoughts. Often times our thoughts are drowned by our problems and we become immovable not allowing our strengths to shine (i.e. help someone else not fall victim of low self-talk, give advice, etc.)—we even become selfish (let’s be honest) kind of like “if I don’t have you don’t have” perhaps not consciously thinking but subconsciously which is even worse.

The reason why I speak in general terms is because I know what it is to be at the bottom of the pit, in the lion’s den. Now, the why I don’t lose grip and faith is because I don’t smell like flesh, I know what’s been placed inside me, I know I have the Holy Spirit of God deposited in me and that is my inner strength, therefore I am aware that I can always seek within me to get back up and help others seek the Father above and ask for a deposit.

I know what it is to have nothing and yet had the strength to tell people “you will have it all”, I know the feeling that brings barley having any food in the fridge to feed your kids and the uncertainty of not event knowing when you will be able to fill the fridge again, and again…encouraging people to “not lose hope”.

Life is about that inner strength my friends about never giving up, about fighting for what you believe in about searching within you for the spirit of strength that was deposited in your soul.

I’ve known what it is to be typing an encouraging message from my phone while I have my car loan finance company call me because I am a month behind on my car payment because of my recent work loss due to my Fibromyalgia flares, IBS, Leaky Gut, Severe Migraines, (conditions that have been yet subject to diagnosis, Dr.’s appt/too many test/biopsies etc. too much into? Yes, I am human). Having to fight for unemployment while looking for a job where I can work despite my health conditions, but guess what life goes on and I must face the situation with strength.  rFrom the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence,4 and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12ESV)

I know what it is to have a trouble teenager while I take a course on Adolescents Psychology and concentrate on a major in Marriage and Family Relations, I tell you more I know what it is to have a trouble marriage and find out your husband has been smoking marijuana for ever—or maybe never stopped since you met him…while you’ve been fighting (with him) for your son not to do it.

The health conditions just seem to be growing like the grass on a morning spring—the headaches are accumulating like the snow on a winter storm and the rain won’t cease like April shower.

Where to hide, and where to get strength from, where to go to and where not to go, where do I find the person I am trying to become? Is this all worth it?

Do I keep searching or do I give up now? How do I believe there is a God when all I see is evil right now?

This is the time my friends when we have to seek positivism and hold on to hope, find our inner strength, shut the chaos that’s around us, if we can’t do nothing about the circumstances, we can only go from here, try to inspire this world with our living testimony (unless we want to rot in misery) and fight!

I can consider myself a warrior even when I am lost in tears and I fall flat on my face every time I try and it didn’t work out as planned, I can certainly say I am not a victim I am a VICTOR I survived if I am alive there is a purpose, there’s a reason for me to keep going, there’s more ahead for me, there’s light at the end of this darkness, it’s time to declare and move by bold faith.

We have been under attack from the beginning of time and out war is not with flesh and blood, our war is with spiritual forces that take shape and are acted upon in the humanity of this world. Look around you and identify your oppressor, you may not find one in the physical form, it may just be your illness, your financial situation, your trouble teen, your marriage situation, to mention some—but at the end is all evil forces. Anything that is making you unhappy. Then think about what I just told you and meditate on how you can take back your happiness with violence, with prayer, with gratitude and strength.

Find that inner strength and if you don’t know how, find someone who can help you. Look for ways where you can see beyond the mountain and who can help you understand that you have the power of life and death in your tongue that if you say to that mountain “move, excuse me because here I come (even if you fall-get back up) and you are in my way” that mountain will move as you start taking steps and leaps of faith.

You must seek that inner strength within you, there’s more. You are more!

Trust, believe, achieve!

Appreciate The Space You Have Today

Enjoying life consists of being able to enjoy everything that surrounds us while we stand alone.

Posted by Denise Kilby: All images can be shared

We don’t have to live a petty lonely life and be miserable all the time when we stand alone in the middle of the crowd or perhaps when happen to be alone at home on a weekend instead of out with our buddies or our coworkers from the office at the party that everyone had plans to go to and we bailed out last-minute because we are the biggest introvert, or just sulking & eating a pint of ice cream because we said no to that date we so desperately wanted to say yes to.

We can learn to enjoy the world around us even when we are alone.

Being alone (most of the times) is a choice. This is a world filled with millions of people, places to go to, and things to do. Ultimately it is our call what we choose to do with our day, every day we are given a new opportunity, either we choose to look out the window that gives us a beautiful view or we stare out the window that has the rocky wall. The choice is ours my friends. What we do with our days and our lives will determine our level of happiness and gratitude in life, and eventually how we age…(but that’s another post), thus our perspective of being alone can change a lot.

I believe is so perplexing when I can be alone and fall in love with nature or admire the way people interact with each other, I look out the window sometimes if I’m indoors and watch people walk by( if there’s someone close by) and just watch the creation of God…how it evolves & takes place on this perfectly made world. I enjoy going to a park and sit there for hours alone and sometimes take a book and not even read it because I’m too busy just watching the natural world that takes place around me, the squirrels (whom by the way own my back yard) and the fish in creek, the bees perhaps (annoying the living soul out of me), the flowers, I even like seeing how the grass comes back up after someone sits on it for so long and the grass decides to get back up and live again.

I don’t make a conscious decision to study these things I let my soul guide me, I just choose to think of what’s freeing for me and nature comes natural and free.

I call this free up space, time to meditate, to create, to appreciate, to re recreate, to evolve, to innovate, and to get involve with the creator of life, to reinvent into something bigger and better than whatever loneliness could possibly be trying to tell me.

  • We may not always be in the crowd we want, or we might not even get in the crowd we want AT ALL, but here is when we have to innovate ourselves and make the best out of the situation appreciate people for who they are and use the opportunities given to bring in our God’s given gifts
  • Sometimes we’ll find ourselves alone, and that is perfectly fine, scary at times I will not even attempt to lie. It can be because we chose to or because someone else said no at the moment (remember ultimately is our choice there are millions of people out there-join a charity) but we can always learn to appreciate ourselves-give thanks use the opportunity to meditate and perhaps give back to others on that free space and time that we have
  • There will be work events that you might not feel like is your place to attend and you can perhaps be at home (still debating) feel like you should be there, wondering what it’s like even when the party is almost over and thinking “oh God I made a fool of myself what would they think, I could had worn this outfit, maybe it wasn’t that serious, I could had pulled it off etc. etc.”

I get it we can work with a lot of people but some of us are the biggest introvert (maybe I’m speaking for MYSELF here)point I’m trying to make is that while you’re here thinking about the party on how its going, on what’s going on with you, on why you didn’t make it or perhaps talking down on your boss and co-workers as a coping mechanism, and trying to figure out whats going on over there, guess what? EVERYONE is Partying over there—so you can use that time to innovate, while you relax with your fresh cleared mind at home, no stress no buzz and recreate come with new ideas even if they are just for you. Use that time to appreciate yourself and the greatness of your mind don’t use your energy to think about anyone else unless it is to help them grow.

Don’t forget the value of your soul, you need to have peace that last an eternity make sure to live a life that pleases you soul and provides you with peace everywhere you are by seeing the beauty that surround you everywhere you go. This world wasn’t created by a casualty, it was perfectly and wonderfully made for those who live in it, it was design with you in mind, appreciate whats in it and use the space that’s given to evolve.

What we choose to do with our times is our luxury—we can value it or depreciate it. -Denise Kilby

As always with love and your best interest at heart.

May God bless you and be with you always in everything that you do: “For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men” (Titus2:11).
